Collection: MM6
MM6 Maison Margiela is a sub-line of the renowned French fashion house Maison Margiela, founded in 1997 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela. Originally launched as "Line 6," this line was created with the aim of offering a more accessible, wearable, and casual alternative to the main ready-to-wear collections, while retaining the brand's distinctive rebellious and intellectual DNA.
MM6 takes classic, everyday garments (like T-shirts, denim jackets, and tailored suits) and alters their form. It does this through shifted seams, asymmetrical cuts, inverted layers, and unexpected slits.Unlike the main line, which deals with high conceptual fashion, MM6 focuses on street style, comfort, and everyday practicality. The collections are largely unisex (gender-fluid), with fluid silhouettes that blur the strict boundaries between men's and women's clothing.
- Distinctive White Stitching: While the main Margiela line uses four white stitches on the back, MM6 pieces are recognizable by a single horizontal white stitch visible from the outside, holding the label.
